Monica joined North Whidbey Fire & Rescue in 2019.  She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources. She has over ten years of customer service experience and over three years in finance with several financial institutions. Monica is a proud military spouse with three small children.

As administrative manager, Monica serves as assistant to the Fire Chief.  She manages administrative, clerical and technical details for the district and serves as office manager for the district’s administrative team. She ensures the operations and procedures for bookkeeping, preparation of payroll, personnel information management, filing systems, accounts payable and accounts receivables. She compiles data and other information for inclusion into periodic and special reports.  Also, as board secretary she prepares commissioner meeting agenda items and backup support materials.  She is also a Washington state notary.
